The position is for a College Intern under Automation and Analytics team with in the Global Strategy and Delivery Organization in Markets Controllership.
The Markets Controllership organization is responsible for oversight of the financials, reporting, accounting, audits, statutory and regulatory compliances including direct and indirect taxes for legal entities across the globe where HP has presence.
The automation and analytics team amongst many roles facilitates a key control of Balance Sheet Review across all markets and develops and maintains systemic solutions which enables a stronger control environment and better reporting using the latest tools and technologies for all controllers to work within.
This role allows a person to get depth of experience cutting across geographies and focusing on application of Advance analytics to reporting and controls
Required skills /qualification:
- Student of Chartered Accountancy
- Basic conceptual finance knowledge
- Willingness to understand complex system and processes within the company.
- Enthusiasm to explore digital tools and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Techno functional capabilities, like awareness of using Power BI , RPA etc are added advantage.
- Good communication and ability to work in teams.
- Enthusiasm and ability to work in a global team set up.
Broad role definition:
- Work with the lead in supporting the facilitation of BSR’s on a quarterly basis for the designated markets.
- Work with the data team to support and build models that allow better analytics of financial statements.
- Support in the continuous improvement of the existing codes and projects to changing technology environment.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing the automation and digitization journey within controllership
- Be a champion of change and digital adoption within markets controllership.
